Carla Paredes Diaz, FNP-BC

Carla Paredes Diaz was originally born in Lima, Peru, but grew up in Colorado. Carla attended Colorado State University-Pueblo where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She worked as a Float Pool Registered Nurse at a local hospital. She was trained to work on several units, such as Pediatrics, Women’s Services, Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Cardiac, Orthopedics, Rehab, Behavioral Health, and the Stroke unit. Carla then decided to go back to school to receive her MSN in acute care and family practice and graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo.
Carla is a certified Nurse Practitioner who always had a passion for working with pediatrics, but it was during her clinical rotation where she fell in love with primary care for both pediatrics and family practice.
Carla has one daughter who she loves spending time with. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and giving back to her community.
