Karen Springfield, ACNP-BC FNP-BC AACC
Family Medicine
Karen is a Colorado native, growing up in Pueblo. She received her
undergraduate degree from USC, now known as CSU-Pueblo. Her nursing
background is critical care. She continues to maintain her national
certifications in Critical Care (CCRN), Emergency Nursing (CEN), and
Flight Nursing (CFRN).
Karen graduated with honors from CSU-Pueblo with her MSN, and two Nurse Practitioner disciplines. She is double boarded in Family Practice
(FNP-BC) and Acute Care (ACNP-BC). She is an Associate of The American
College of Cardiology (AACC), the Nurse Practitioner equivalent of a
Physician Fellowship. She is Nationally Certified (CRTT) and a
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). She has a special interest in
health promotion and cardiopulmonary disease management.
Karen has two children and enjoys most any outdoor activity.
