Monica Valdez, PNP-C
Monica’s passion has always been nursing. She completed her LPN and ADN through Pueblo Community college. She graduated from CSU-P with her BSN in nursing, practiced as an RN at St Mary Corwin’s med/surg pediatric unit and at Kaiser Permanente where she triaged and assessed a variety of different age groups. She received her MSN with a specialty in Pediatrics from Regis College in Boston Massachusetts. Monica has 20 years of nursing experience, mostly in pediatrics. Her true passion is pediatrics and has always loved caring for children.
Monica is also a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. Who loves to care for children and their families. Treating children includes the entire family not just the child.
Monica is a Pueblo native and speaks Spanish. She loves spending time with her family, especially her son. Monica enjoys reading, running, yoga, paddle boarding, swimming, and spending time outdoors.
