Born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, Rachel Whitten went to nursing school at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL. She moved to San Antonio and worked as an Emergency Room RN for several years before attending the University of Texas Health Science Center, graduating with honors and receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing and Board Certification in Family Practice. She worked in San Antonio as a Family Nurse Practitioner for several years with experience across the lifespan, most recently focused on geriatrics. She decided to relocate to Colorado recently to be near her husband’s family. She has three children (two girls and a boy) and two dogs. They enjoy hiking, swimming, volleyball, good food, and traveling to see their family and friends in other states.

With a true heart for her patient’s, Ms Whitten is caring, compassionate and thorough. She believes in a patient centered approach and providing quality health care to all of her patients.
